congrats on your purchase. i was reading this site months before i purchased my "B". i often thought how bad i would feel if things fell through and didn't get the "B". no worries now, just more fun than i could of imagined.

Ah yeah, but to be honest, i know jack about cars, i' m27 now myself, had a few new ones before but nothing fancy, just cheap, but now that i'm making more money i treated myself....so yeah, i was thinking of some 17 or 18 inch wheels to start with (maybe next month)...a muffler tip (hey, i dont need to pay for the whole damn thing if i can pay 20 or 30 for the freakin tip, that's all you see anyways)....
and maybe, MAYBE eventually a dvd player set up inside, but i'm a bit concerned about the glare...oh well, one thing at a time right? :)
on a side note, how does a box look with 18's and no drop?
thanks for the welcomes all :)

welcome, i've probably seen u around. i live in anaheim/fullerton. I'm the black cherry with silver 18's and team scion west on the back. if you see me say waaasup! as far as the question about the 18's and no drop, it depends on what tires you get. if you get 45 series tires, then it will look ok, but if you get 35 series, then it will definately need a drop

hmm, i've seen a black cherry making a left onto chapman (in fullerton) off the 57, but didnt get a chance to read any of the stickers on the back :)
Actually, i saw a silver one friday on my way to vegas, i was turning onto yorba linda from bradford, i honked at him and gave the peace sign, he smiled a big grin and waved back. My friends in my car thought it was hillarious, i told them it was a scion thing. haha
So yeah, about the drop...I guess i'm concerned about the dropping, ride wise, speed bump wise and what not...i don't wanna tear up the tranny and underside of my precious box. :) so we'll just take one thing at a time, i get 3 paychecks in july coming...fortunately, half of my first one is going to pay off my credit card bills, i'll put the other half in my checking acct and save up for a few more weeks and see what i feel like doing i guess. :) By chance any pictures of 18's with the 45 series tires on here? Link a picture if ya got's one please, if not. no worries :)

i have the 2" goldline drop springs on mine, and it actually smooths out the ride alot. you don't have to have it aligned, and it isn't enough of a drop to hurt the tranny or anything. i've never scraped on speedbumps or coming out of driveways either.

Don't think of it as a system. It's a deck, a nav system, a monitor, an amp, a capacitor, another amp, some fiberglass, some vinyl, some neon, ........................................................................ and pretty soon you've bought a cool setup piece by piece. My system took me so long, I was saving up for it before I even put a down on the xB. All you need is patience, not that that huge list of stuff came too slowly or anything  .
