Is exposed really part of HIN nightshift? Sounds a bit iffy to me... Exposed Last Year was huge, I don't think Solider Field will have ample room for both the Exposed Crowd and HIN crowd.

last year's exposed happened during the first day of Battle of the Imports show -- so, it will be pretty much the same for this year's event within an event

i was just told that the Exposed registration for Chicago will be up either Wednesday or Thursday this week.
Exposed event will be separate from Nightshift. however, you will get two admission tickets for the Nightshift event for each registered Scion.

If i want to park by my club for Nightshift but want to be included for exposed can i do that? also, from my understanding night shift starts at 4 and not 6.

im pretty sure this will be bigger than that though. as SE we should have close to 40-50 cars and scikotics will have a good number, cincinatti scions will be about 10 if i remember right, any ohio scions? and i believe scionrgy always makes a showing. oh yeah, and all those independents. :P

hotels near the event mean, downtown. away from downtown means getting out of chicago if ur headin in the MO direction. what kind of money u lookin to spend/save? that should help us let u know where to go.
i think the schaumburg area would be a good bet.

where is this other place, is it less scary? OR ELSE! i say we go across the street from funkybuddha to richardson bar and visit Ross. just keep in mind that 4.5 hard boiled eggs plus liqour is not a good idea.

as far as hotels, schaumburg looks like it has pretty good prices for hotels and its about 30-40 minutes away and theres restaurants, shopping, etc. if not hotels near ohare would put u closer, but plane noise. one thing the wife and i have done in the past is goin to priceline and making an offer. we have gotten the mariott downtown for 55 bucks a night. another option, is the hotel on lake shore drive in hyde park (not sure of the name, but its about 5 min from exposed 10 from downtown. ok im done talking.

travel times from hotels by the airport to Soldier Field can range from 30min to just over an hour - depending on time of day and travel conditions.

I'm at the hard rock... 1.8 miles away.

Hello. I'm still new to this forum stuff..but have been reading in the shadows for a while. This is my 2nd post and I have a question.

I am head over heels completely in love with the TC. I will one day have a super white tc possibly praying for next year. But I was wondering if I can attend this exposed event in chicago at soldier field or is it only for Scion owners? I would love to see the place packed with scions, but I'm not sure if I your typical joe with no scion can just attend and check out the place.

I have this feeling that it's only for scion owners, but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

come on down! exposed is FREE from 3-6pm -- so you can check out the Scions, get a feel for the Scion community, meet some of the clubs, and have a good time...
you will, however, need to purchase an admission ticket if you would want to participate in the NightShift event afterward

When they say registration is full do they mean they have no more night shift tickets available or do they mean there is no more room for any more cars at the location. If they mean no more night shift tickets then they should still let cars in just explain if you didnt register you dont get the night shift tickets. I can't believe they would hold an event where they would have to turn people away due to lack of space. I mean this is EXSPOSED not slightly showing.

Hey Chicago! Great time out there even though it was hot as HELL!

I lost 20 lbs easy just cleaning the car. I did a damn crappy job too. What's up with a 3pm gate time AND a 3pm judging time?? Oh well, we all did the best we could and had a ton of fun.

I'll make a page with all of my pictures on Thursday when I'm off of work. In the meantime I've posted a few shots (mostly of the IA guys) on our site here:

Thanks so much for the hospitality the members of all the Chicago clubs showed us. It was great to see all my long distance friends again and finally meet some new ones! I look forward to next time!

Awesome pics guys, I really wish I could have been there. The irony is I was downtown all day on Saturday visiting my folks and my mom even took a picture of that same SANYO blimp because it buzzed their condo window.

It looks like it was an awesome time.

First one that ive been to and ill be going every year from now on.
hopefully ill have more done to my Box by then.
Cant believe that i made it into the pics on here.....lol

that is sooo weird!!!! went from va with some scion friends, went to exposed and had a good time, got wasted of course, took a pic of that bone thing cuz i thought it was funny!! we got off at that exit because it said something about a lakeshore? i wanted to see something cool.. but it ended up being office buildings! :)

we shoulda carpooled. lmao

yeah took the 1600 mile drive. we love road trips. and ive never been to chicago, so it gave me a good reason to take a road trip! :) had a grrreat time too!!!

I'm gald some people took notice of some specific cars. The gold Golf is a friends of mine, the blue Eclipse wit the vette tails is my old managers car. the interior he did cuz of me. the orange Celica in the BFG booth had it's audio/video work done at my shop.

Thanks for making the trip and supporting this event. I was a little dissapointed at first when I saw the venue but when it filled up with people and cars it made for a great atmosphere. Next year I hope it will be bigger and better and have some sort of WATER theme to it. A pool, squirt guns, something, just keep us cool SCION.

Does anyone have pictures of the winners for the TC's and XB's. I already know who won for XA's. Having been unable to show this summer I was curious what I need to do for next Exposed.
