The Poison series from Hi Performance Designs - the Spinout. Don't mind the red and blue ones, but the gunmetal and black look pretty good. :)

(no, i'm not advertising for these guys, just saying... with everyone complaining about how so many people have the Unknowns... well... now there's something else)

Well the biggest difference is no polished lip. But there are some other subtle things too.

Isn't that the same reason alotta people have tC's? If something is good, whether it be a wheel or a car, people are going to get them.

No matter what you get, somebody else is gonna get it (unless its just plain ugly). I've only seen like maybe 10 people on SL with the Unknowns. 10 outta however many thousand tC owners in the US. And there's the Blue Car factor.

Meaning, once you buy a Blue Car (or whatever color), you suddenly start seeing Blue Cars everywhere--it seems like everyone and their mother is buying one.

It's partially a psychological trip, just because you have something or like some thing, it seems to show up everywhere.

I thought the same thing about my iPod. I bought an iPod Nano, and suddenly EVERYONE seemed to have them. My classmates, people on the street, my neighbor.

You tend to notice things more if you have one.

I definitely don't consider the Konig's "cheap" ... and I don't know who those people are, but they deserve a pimp slap for thinking such. They may not be $500/wheel, but that doesn't mean they're crap either.

I'd love a set of the Konig Crosshairs or the Freefall. But they're not "cheap" enough for me to afford them yet. :)

Both rims look good. I'd take either of them. Nice that the spinouts have different color options though. I found another rim that just like the two of them...but cheaper, if thats the way you wanted to go. Not sure what the bolt pattern is though.

Wow, that company has some really nice rims. Diggin' the use of polished black. Used to be really hard to find any rims that weren't all chrome or just gunmetal.

I'd say Axis and Konig wheels are in the same "category" of cheap wheels. Yours is cheap too....and everyone has Axis wheels. Looks like you're in the same boat.

You dont have unknowns...so you really have no business being in this thread to begin with. WE dont care if you like the wheels or not. we got them beacuse we like them and we think they look good on the tC. We did not buy the wheels because they are "cheap" as in in expencive. We bought them beacause we feel they flow with the car very well, and we like the contrasting colors. When we bought them we knew they were heavy. Shoot the majority of people who buy them have 19s...so why do we care what weight they are?

Seems like every time you post, it's to put down someone or their car. Just so much negativity from you.

Maybe it's not your intention, but most of your posts come across as a hater.

I love my unknowns. And personally, for some those wheels may be "cheap" but for most of us paying our way through school and trying to work also as well as paying off the tC, those wheels fit our budget and may not be what we call "cheap." I know that goes for me. To me spending nearly 800 dollars for wheels is not exactly cheap. That's probably the most expensive thing i have ever bought besides my tC.

And when it comes to "everyone has unknowns" it only seems like that because they look good on tCs and this is mainly only on SL. I have never seen this rims in real life. I am the only one in my local towns that have these. These would be popular if i saw them on every car in my neighborhood, not just on SL.

Ok, that's enough for my .02 cents...

FYI: I've seen the HPD Spinouts a while before I saw the Unknowns... So they're not a "new knockoff".

The Unknowns were based off another design.... so, that's just a given... they aren't the cheapest, they aren't, also, notoriously overpriced like many other rim setups... I'm not liking the flow with white as much as my BSP, or H0B's former FM color matched unknowns... But, they do recieve many many positive comments on the streets and in the shows... and definately cost a decent chunk of change...

Come On Guys... "Inflammitory" comments just fuel fires that kill threads and don't serve anyone....

Needless to say... I'm proud to sport them, and my trophies, my #2 Ranking in the registry and I think they do just fine... :)

thats odd...I, nor WDS, ever had any problems with the quality of our wheels. inexpencive? shoot they are around $800 for all four wheels...

i know someone is always going to hate them, but why voice the fact that they hate them. i can understand a comment towards...not feeling them, or eh...not my style. but why do we have to come in and just start bashing over and over and over again.

Whoa man, that's smokin'. Didn't think those would look so good. If I had a blue tC i'd totally grab those. The black ones are nice too, but I still prefer the jagged look of the unknowns. I think the tenzo passion 5's look even better than the unknowns though.

I love my Konig Unknowns...I have something currently being done to them so when they are done, i'll bump this thread and get some comments, hopefully good comments!

Nope, wanted to leave the middle of the silver spokes black to keep with my theme and to have a 3-D look to them...And yes, masking was a BIG pain in the arse...

Of course I was one of the million's to want the Konig 'Unknowns' but knew that EVERYONE had them. I think these are WAY better looking.
