Default Exhaust help

I haven't noticed any problems with the 06 TC that I got my stepdaughter, until this morning when we pulled up to the house around the same time. First off, do all factory TC owners have their exhaust just hanging on that rubber type of piece underneath? The pipe doesn't look too secure in my opinion. I hear a slight rattle from the exhaust. Anyone else notice a different sound to their factory exhaust? I will probably go to my dealer and get it checked out. I that this is just something minor. Being a new car, this is really frustrating!

Most exhaust hangers are rubber now. But it's actually pretty solid. I'm not sure what kind of sound you're hearing though. The rattle could be something in the muffler itself or just something under the car hitting something else.

See what the dealer says and let us know.

that rubber is very strong. I have helped with a few exhausts and getting that rubber mount off is not easy.

I wouldn't think that Toyota would make that rubber piece so heap looking, but to me it doesn't look sturdy. I will take your word for it being solid. Thank you for your help and I will take it to the dealer soon.

Kewl, thanks for your help. I'm hearing a slight rattle sound from the pipe. I don't know, but I will keep this post informed after I take "Princess Sophie", to the dealer. My stepdaughter is a huge Hello Kitty fan.
