Please help me to decide between these two exhaust.

I am not planning to get header.. so it doesn't matter which one sounds better with header..

Which one should I get? TRD Exhaust or HKS HI Power Exhaust?

I heard TRD Exhaust but I did not hear HKS.

Which one has deeper sound? deeper and louder?

hks has a better growl and will give you better performance with its straighter flow piping from the axle back

the trd one sounds like a trumbone farting imo

 

check out the exhaust thread. There are sound/video clips for both the TRD and HKS exhausts.

 

out of those two, get the hks. if you would be willing to choose another, go with megan

the thing is that I just want to hear the pure sound of exhaust, not with headers and intakes

HKS by far..it sounds way better, is cheaper, and gives a little bit more (not much though) in hp

 

plus if you plan on going catback, sounds so much better with an HKS then the TRD. HKS never got raspy for me and i have no cat.

 

just my .02 , why does no one ever consider the DC sports axle-back? i have it and it sounds great, similar to TRD design, but imo better construction with awesome looks and sound. inexpensive too. just a suggestion if you are in the market for an exhaust.

if you want it to look stock then go with the TRD if youre doing on performance after like header or intake then i would go with HKS... i have a TRD i like it but it doesnt add hp just a nicer sound than stock... its quiet now tho so yeah really its all personal preference... i didnt want something that looks huge and yeah.... so i went with TRD

 

hks is deeper and more power....

 

the DC sports muffler is kinda raspy though
