It's just a borla muffler with custom piping.

That's ___... I want GOOD EVIL GROWLING SOUND.

And, ack, you seem like knowledgable member, so which would have the BEST GROWL and LOUD, but not ricer loud, set up? I want at least an Injen CAI and the Borla Axle-Back. Don't know about the headers, as I've read about the CEL. Don't know too much about S-Pipes. Any good "educational" threads on S-Pipes? Thanks for any help I may recieve.

You could get away with an axleback and have good sound. The borla sounds pretty good.

As soon as you start changing header or s-pipe, you're going to need to add resonators or else you're going to get a lot of rasp - so you'd end up going with a custom midpipe or one that has one or two resonators built in.

I can't think of any good info threads at the moment, but if I come across something, I'll let you know.

I want it to sound like THIS. But, it's with a K&N Typhoon CAI, nothing more I think. Would it sound the same or better with an Injen CAI?

If I have to get a custom midpipe and have to do a lot of things for the CEL light for a DC header or whichever is the best, then it might not be worth it.

We have a Borla that was custom made for the Southeast Toyota Region that has a nice sound and some moderate HP gains. http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...2&parts_id=644

and the Injen CAI's in polished or black and with or without the bypass valve. These also have a moderate HP gain. http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...&parts_id=1069

The Injen Exhaust on the same page is very popular and offoers a slightly higher HP gain the Borla.

Oh, I'm gonna get the Injen CAI from here:
http://www.showstoppersusa.com/produ...roducts_id=462
For $235 shipped is pretty good.

But, I am still looking for a Borla Axle-Back for cheap. I heard that the Borla you have is not authentic and it's not the same as if I were to get it straight from Borla. Can anyone help me on this?

looks like the creative compacts exhaust with cat and borla muffler. I have that same exhaust but with the resonator added. Sounds awesome and gave a decent butt dyno gain.

Very similar. Only difference is mine was a little quieter since I have a resonator on there, but then I got the supercharger and it got a bit louder...It sounds very similar.

So, I would have to get it from TRD Sparks then? I want good details and quality stuff. I'm very **** about this. I am afraid of buying something and not liking it and wasting money. So, do you recommend this?

I think the Supercharger is too much money for just 40HP. Rather get a turbo. Which won't happen in a while.

That exhaust in the ebay post is available at ProMotion Tuning.

TRDSparks only has the axle back which is entirely made by Borla.

I would recommend it.

Oh and 40HP is a low estimate...There is a good breakdown of the cost per HP in another post HERE!!

Does it say Borla on it? And it does seem too cheap for something as nice as Borla.

The muffler is the Borla part. The piping is bent at a shop in Florida. Check out the details at Pro Motion's website.
