I'm shopping for audio equipment, myself, and the Clarion seems comparable to the Alpine CDA9831 but the Alpine is $300 less.

The alplines seem pretty cool, I just don't like how every single one of there radios all look exactly the same.

i talked to alot of retailers and they all say clarion sucks. They claim that people are retuning them becuase they break all of the time.
