When Scion was introduced, Toyota realized that the Y-gen buyers might go wild with modification on the car (i.e. SEMA mod cars). Since I have a xA, I'm interested to know what mods have you done so far? What mods do you have in mind for the future?

nothing yet, due to personal situations, but in 2 weeks the fun begins.. so far what I've compiled as my list of to do:
IST silver tail lights
Eibach Pro Kit springs
15 or 16" Rota Circuit 8 (maybe 10 depending on their weight) wheels
Short Throw Shift Kit (need to find for certain if it is xB only or not)
matched Body reinforcement out the wazoo (Upper and lower, plus lower rear strut bars)
Sway bars for handling purposes
Carbon Fiber spoiler (just a touch, IF someone makes it and maybe some other small pieces like a hood and some interior details)
TRD or strong after market clutch
improved brake pads (been told the rotors are pretty good stock)
New (used) Engine (properly reinforced with a sleeve, cleaned out and studded)
CAI (either of AEM, EL Prototypes or if someone could do an xA tunnel ram  )
Header (preferably a tri-Y, but all of them I've seen so far don't do it)
Exhaust (if the stock cats become a restriction I'd like to move to high flow, the sound itself is of no concern to me, I prefer subtle and quiet)
Venom Programmable Nitrous Kit
That's it for now, don't want to do any where form doesn't follow function too much. I'm sure this will burn out at least $4.5k over the project, but it will be over time and that's why I liked the xA in the first place, so inexpensive..

2fixA- Have you seen the Tanabe Springs yet? $156 for a 2" drop, as good quality as Eibach I'm told. http://www.optauto.com/webstore/product_information.asp?number=TNB-TDF080&variation=&aitem=2&mitem=7&back=yes
Also, however good the stock rotors are, you could always get cross drilled and slotted rotors =)
And finally, I haven't heard of many people using Venom nitrous kits, so not sure if the quality, but I would go Nitrous Express, very reputable, and they give you the actual HP gains posted, unlike NOS. Venom could be good for all I know, just saying I haven't heard of many people using them.
Other than that, your mod list sound like a pretty nice setup, later.

DoNuT, only issue is that it isn't a programmable kit. I.E. it doesn't measure the engine RPM and drops an appropriate N2O, instead of one big shot no matter what the RPM is. Instead of using a solenoid it uses a variation nicknamed pulsenoid in order to mediate the dispersion of the N2O.
As for the Tanabe springs, I only went for Eibachs because I know they are progressive (are the Tanabes?) and do a 1.5 inch drop (the xA seems low already, I don't know what a 2" drop with would look like) if you have any info let me know

Venom Programmable Nitrous Kit
What kind of fuel system does the xA use? With celicas we couldn't use a dry system (venom) because of our fuel systems, we had to go with wet systems.

The Scions' 1NZ-FE engine also uses a returnless fuel injection system. It makes some aftermarket modifications a little more difficult to implement than with traditional fuel injected setups that have an external fuel pressure regulator, but keep your eyes peeled for goodies over the next 3-4 months...

I've got a nice list of stuff that I will be doing. Right now, I have the springs sitting in my living room (compliments of Van). And I have my intake on the way.
I've also got some other stuff on order, but you'll just have to wait and see what that is.
