Default How Much $$$ For a Decent Paint Job? [I Want 2 Go WHITE]

I have a FM but its too popular. I was parked next to two other FM's today. I want to go SUPER WHITE.

What company does a good professional job.. and how much would it cost me?

the money its going to cost to get a "GOOD" paint job can really get up there i have herad of people paying up to $10,000 to $15,000 (obviously show cars) but still the price even for just a swtich would warrant a good amount of money as well. if u really wanted a super white on your car then i would do extensive body modifications first, such as a widebody kit. This would then allow you to have a good reason to spend the money it will take and at the same time you will get a nice show car and maybe even get a sponser to pay for it all. However that is just speculation and if you really wanted a super white that was stock, then trade in is the way to go.

if i was to paint my car to a different color.. i would paint it with a unique color. once you get your super white paint and park next to 2 sw tC's.. will you want to change your paint again? not trying to be rude or anything.. it would be a waste of money just to do that. do something different if you don't want to have a typical tC. I've seen a pink tC already. lol

I think a burnt orange (like they have on the 350Z's) would look cool on a tC, but I could be wrong.

i think the TC would just lok viscious in matte black. as a matter of fact, can someone photoshop that for me? anyway... it will cost between $6000-$7000 for a good paint job from a reputable paint shop. this is due to painting door jams, engine bay, pulling ALL possible detachable parts, and sanding off original color. but seriously someone photoshop that matte( flat) black on a TC please

are you really willing to pay the money and time it would take to completely paint the car? They have to drop the motor, rip out the interior, take off all the windows, and resurface the whole car basically. It's totally not worth it.

My advice, love your car for what it is, and don't worry about how many people have it. No matter where you go you will always be able to find a car that is the same color as yours. Don't judge your car off of others cars, judge it by what you think of it.

3k-4k for a complete color change..even more if you want a real thorough job it may cost more. If I were to EVER paint my SW tC, it'd have to be the 350z burnt orange colour or the M3 laguna seca blue colour.

To paint a factory color, $3000-3500 depending on how hooked up you get, if you're mr connections then you can find a factory paint job deal for $2500 -and that's super cheap. Most expensive part is the paint than anything else.

well since you probably dont have the money to get the car painted.............how about MAKING IT YOURS, by personalizing it. i was within the first 200 people in the country to buy my TC (my vin #), and the few and far between times i saw another one i got ____ed, cause i wanted all the "what kind of car is that" questions to myself hahaha. but i have a silver streak mica TC and its a popular color. i personalized the car to make it my own, and i can park next to 5 SSM TC's and never accidetaly grab a door handle of a different one. thats what SCION is all about, personalization. do it. then compare yours to others of the same color and love your even more...

FM might be everywhere,
but SW is right behind it.

decent paint job will
cost money, so might as
well get away from the OEM colors.

here's another pic
of that tC. was at that show too:
