I have a customer looking and im trying to help him out. Any suggestions would be great...thanks studentper 06-23-2004, 03:58 PM I don't think they would be possible with the side curtain air bags. Even if the bag itself is deployed only from the very top, the whole trim piece comes off as a unit and any guage going through it would probably interfere with its deployment. just my thought, though, i never looked under the trim. mikochu 06-23-2004, 06:36 PM How many people with xAs actually have the side airbags? I don't... tbblizzard 06-23-2004, 06:50 PM yea, i don't either... i don't think they made many with side airbags. there's a ratio somewhere on here of how many had side airbags compared to those that don't. tbblizzard 06-23-2004, 06:53 PM actually, all he needs is really a AutoGage pillar, something generic, if he needs a tripod, double, single, whatever, get a snap-on type. with a little bondo/fiberglassing and alot of sanding he can have a custom pod-pillar. :D if he needs it done, send him my way  iglcrair 06-29-2004, 07:22 PM If we get 30 orders, http://www.gaugepods.com will produce full length pillars at a cost of $39 apiece. But im thinking that im probably the only xA owner who actually wants a triple gauge A-pillar. Nortwn_Scion 06-29-2004, 07:35 PM see aaron i told you i was trying for ya...lol :D BCS 06-29-2004, 10:57 PM Sign me up. I'll have a triple or a double, doesn't really matter to me on that. Actually....might as well get a triple one. I don't have the side curtains either. Back_In_Black_xA 06-30-2004, 01:02 AM It would be nice for the xA to have a water temp guage since they don't have real temp gauges on them. |
