I have this. It works really well. I had Randy (http://www.randode.com) install it for me, but most audio shops will do it. Just call around.

Unless something has changed there is no factory one. Some dealers sell/install them but they use aftermarket parts.

The factory one is made by Rostra, you can either get the Scion branded one or the Rostra one. Both are the same kit, just with different part numbers. You can get it at trdsparks.com or allscion.com. The kit is well made and relatively easy to install. It took the majority of the day to do, because I was figuring out how everything came apart. The allscion site has some pretty good tips that was not in the manual. If you have some electrical knowledge it will help with the installation.

I have the dealer installed rostra on my auto. Great kit but be careful when reverse or neutral as the cruise doesn't know not to engage when you accidentally hit it.

Installed prices vary by dealership, but since you're in FL, it's Pure Priced. Check your local dealership's dedicated Scion website and it will tell you how much. If you don't know how to find your local dealership's website go here:

http://www.scion.com/scion/pub/deale...it.do?zipCode=

and type in your zip code.

We sell the cruise installed for $399.

My dealer recommended a local audio shop who furnished and installed it for $349 plus $7.45 sales tax. That means he charged $149.00 for the unit and $200.00
to install it. It works fine.

I have Rostra installed kit. Works pretty well.
Does not work great in large hills, such as in VT on Highway where you want to maintain 65 M.P.H. and above. Engine does not have enough power so tranny will drop down from overdrive and then sometimes to to second - immediately rpm's climb - and then takes while to upshift back into overdrive.
I paid $300.00 from sound and alarm shop. Clean install.

I want to pick up the RF one that uses RF signals to work instead of running wires down the column and all that.

I ordered mine with it. My Rostra cruise was port installed. It works great but takes along time to recover while going up a hill. I usually just give it some gas right before going uphill so it doesn't start loosing speed. Better than NOT having it at all.

I have one on my xB. It's different than most cars, it sticks out like the turn signal shaft. It's good and you can get it at the dealer.
