What would be a resonable cost to install S-tech? (How much do you guys pay for?)

$150 - $200 but not more than that. Personally I'd do it myself and save all the money.

Speed & Sound in Longwood Florida installed mine and my buddies s-techs for $125 each car. I was quoted prices from other places from $250 to $810 just to install the springs.

I've been getting quotes around my area for a spring install... I've been quoted anywhere from $400-$650. I haven't even bothered asking the dealer for a quote; they seem to enjoy trying to gouge me.

About half the places I go to, the conversation goes something like:

"What year is the car? Why are you putting new springs on a new car? Oh.............. we don't do THAT here, why don't you find a shop that does those low-riders."

Sigh. I hardly think a 1.1" front, 1.5" rear drop qualifies as a lowrider.

Every shop I've gone to seems to check the same web database to see how many work hours a spring install would be, then they tell me it'll be 200 for the front and 200 for rear. Then sometimes they tack on extra for "strut adjustments" and other seemingly BS things I've never heard of on SL.
