Here is a pic of the new xB in testing. Notice how the back is a lot longer as well as the wheelbase. I think this is closer to a production version than the other spy shot kicking around the forums...

If this is the xB replacement--they are going in the wrong direction. Bigger is NOT better--it is an Astro Van.

That thing looks terrible. Scion is supposed to be young person brand, hip and cool styling. That thing looks like a van for taking the kids to daycare. That xB-wannabe will destroy Scion's young image if it goes into production.

You have to realize that there is a fabric bag over the car--that is why the wheel looks off center. If they bring this out I would request that the bag stay on it..............

no, look closely, the paper appears to be trimmed around the wheelwells.... I see what you mean on the FRONT wheels, but on the BACK wheels....they just look off...

I like how the t2b and fuse share a unifying look on the front end. I think would be cool if the three new models were to incorporate that.

I was also thinking a roadster might be a good replacement for the xA. after seeing the five axis xA i think something like that would sell a heck of alot better than the current model.

still no sunroofs in that model of the new xB yet the roof is much larger than our current model

There was a previous posting of that very car on this site. It was the last bB that was offered in Japan based upon the same frame as the xB. Not sure what the big deal is unless Toyota is giving someone some grief.

Sorry, guys, that post got edited because he said (in about ten different posts) he had a pic of the RS4 xB and he didn't - not even close. When he comes up with a pic to match the words, we have no problem with him posting it - ONCE. Until then...

press the "print screen" key and then paste it in any program that supports pictures.

the front bumper/mask is split (upper/lower seperated by a bar).... much like the HHR and PT Cruiser...

the top of the car and the windshield look exactly the same shape, but it looks like no front bumper is attached under that paper, maybe its more similar then we thought, looks like the back is rounded, or maybe the paper/cardboard is messing up my view...

Toyota claims a total redesign on the Xb and Xa for 2007. Heres what I dug up, this is the redesigned BB for japan. Scion said that the Xb is going to be "rounded off", I hardly think spyshots of a ""slightly longer , but other than that the same"" Xb are valid. Toyotas saying 2 different things, but I think the mere statement of rounded off and more "aggressive" applies to this right here.

Just about everybody agrees that the new bB is NOT coming this way. We have even had posters who say they went to focus groups and saw the bigger xB replacement. Personally I would like to see the bB replacment--but odds are against.........

I dunno though, because toyota just claimed a total re-design, the Xb is supposed to be more agressive looking, rounded off, and with a totally new body style, and The Xa, most likely will be the japanese ractis with a scion emblem slapped on. They were saying that theyre gonna be totally redesigned and restyled, i just dont see this new Xb looking exactly like the old one but a little longer. Id be dissappointed :no: :nails:

I doubt the new xA will be the ractis. The bB will not come here either. The cars in the spy shots are test mules and may look nothing like the model released.

hmmmm, definitely too "mini-van" for my taste, can't wait for the wrap to come off...
