I DRIVE MANY MILES ON THE FREEWAY AND I REST MY LEFT KNEE ON THE DOOR HANDLE, RIGHT ON THAT ROUND IMPRINT. I LIKE WHERE I HAVE MY SEAT, DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY THOUGHTS, OR HAVE HEARD OF A PAD THAT FITS IN THERE?

THANKS IN ADVANCE

I have had the same problem on a lot of cars I have driven. There has to be a solution somewhere.

My biggest problem was the right knee until I bought a Zeta Knee Pad (http://secure.crisp.net/ecommerce/zetaproducts/product_info.php?cPath=30_39&products_id=95). I guess because of the way I rest my foot that I don't have any issues with the left.

I have the same problem. I put my left hand pointer finger between my knee and the door. It sort of helps. I have never been one to stretch my left leg out and put it on that built in footrest.

I have never been one to stretch my left leg out and put it on that built in footrest.
The proper name for that is "dead pedal".

I had that same annoying problem when i got mine...solution?

I usually tuck my left leg under my right one...kinda like making a number 4 with your legs...either that or rest it on the dead pedal...or adjust your seat an inch forward or back...

Or knee pads...

I just had another idea if the above don't work...

hot glue a thumb tac to the circle with the point out...
prolly won't take long to adapt after that...
:P

I will have to try that when I get home. I'll bet that will get rid of the bruise. Next post: "How do I clean blood off my door panels?"

Here is something similar to what you're looking for:

Too bad it's on the opposite side and probably wouldn't help you at all.

yeah, i never have that problem... maybe it's because I keep my knee down by the CLUTCH.

a live wire. so that everything ur knee touches it you get zapped and you stop from resting it there. problem solved.
