Oh yes, it took me about 40 minutes for the install and i love it. The slop from the stock shifter is now minimal to gone and it shifts oh SO nice. Also got the type-R style shift **** on which I like.

Yoy need something to cover the top of the boot with that ****. Other than that it looks good.

to tell you the truth, i got it on ebay for 6 dollars, plus 6 dollars for shipping. for that money though it is freakin awsome quality. it weighs about the same as the stock **** which is enough for me. i love it, it feels great.

To get your boot to stay up, you need tu take off that assembly turn it inside out, an there is a ring you put half way then flip it. i just did my install last week loks flawless and i love it. If you need a better idea of what i mean look in diy for short throw.

haha, I value your honesty. Normally, after installing a STS, it requires quite a bit more effort to shift the lever. Is that true in this case as well? Thats why I asked about the weighted ****..... those make a big difference, especially on STS equiptted cars.

haha yeah. I DO notice that it takes a bit more effort to switch gears, but for 6 bux, the **** does the job... (even though im doing most of it) I was thinking of going with the weighted type-R **** from TWM, but it cost 95.99$ !!! so for now, i'll just work out my shifting arm for a while
