Any of you Dynamat your engine bay? I am trying to eliminate highway drone from my (for now) unmodified 1.5l

Personally I dont think its needed....the thing is quiet enough...almost too quiet

I noticed that at a 75 mph cruising speed, the engine is very quiet. Just 5 mph above or below and you hear a drone.

I can hardly remember what my stock engine sounded like, but are you sure that the noise is coming from the engine and not the exhaust? Also, if you were to find some way of totally deadening the engine bay you are not going to be able to hear if your engine is doing something its not supposed to. If your planning on modding at all it might be wise to be able to hear whats up inside the bay so you know everything is chill under there. JM2C.
