IS REV. LIMMITER ADJUST POSSIBLE?

NOT SURE IF STICKY EXISTS FOR THIS, SO IF IT DOES SORRY FOR WASTING A TREE. BUT IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE, RETARD OR REMOVE REV LIMMITER?

The emanage ultimate lets you change and ultimately remove it. Some have used it on this forum

I would love to bump up my rev limiter a bit, but it isn't worth spending a couple hundred dollars on emanage ultimate just for that.

SOUNDS LIKE A SPENDY PART

HOW MUCH DO THOSE THINGS USUALLY RUN FOR? IS IT A COMPLETE REPLACEMENT OR IS IT A PIGGY BACK SET UP?

piggyback. i believe the AEM EMS is the only standalone being used.

The unichip also is allows you to up the rev limit. :D

I'm sorry but why would you want to change your rev limiter you aren't making any more power at high rpms. If you get on a dyno you will see its pointless and putting accelerated wear on your engine.

If you have a S/C tC upping the rev limit would yeild some gains. The S/C just keeps on pulling.

Will it put wear on the motor? Sure, but you dont have to take it to 7000rpms everytime you shift.
