Default SC GUYS ONLY... UPCOMING PRODUCT.. GAUGING INTEREST.....

Hey guys. I have designed up a blow off valve system for the sc that will not cause idle issues / stalling issues in any way shape or form. I am starting this post to gauge interest on it before I invest time and more money into the project. Here are the details...

The blow off is a secondary system to the primary stock bypass system. This means the stock or aftermarket bypass valve you already have will remain in place. The system acts just like the stock bypass when daily driving only to blow off when under a fair amount of boost.

Proto is in the works right now. More specs will be thrown out on this post if interest is high enough. Expected price range for this system will be around $175.00 "max projected" It sounds like allot, but allot is going into the design of this setup as it is an electronically controlled system.

Benifits of this system are simply "very very cool sound!" And will not consistantly blow off when off throttle like simply adding a bov to a supercharger system does. Will blow off just like a turbo system and sound the same.

Anyways let me know what you guys think!

This looks good desert. If I wasn't going to have to get rid of the setup I've got now I'd be down for one. I decided not to go with the HKS since some have had problems but I'll be running a turboxs rbv-h34. Good luck with it man.

I am. The circuit is already made as a controller that is apart of the kit. The rest is my own design to make it work proper with a recirc kit so that there are no issues. The final proto is going to take at least another 20-30 days. I am just trying to get a feel on production... if some of you would be interested or not.

In my humble opinion, something like this would be the epitome of rice. There is no need for it, especially with a proper aftermarket blow off valve such as the Bosch 110 or Forge 007.

This reminds me of the VIS fake front mount intercooler. It looks cool, but is just for that...looks.

In this case, it's for sound.

I'm not trying to dog on 1217 at all, but rather on the SC guys who want to sound like they have turbos, or at least sound like they have blowoff valves.

However, if there is a demand, there will be a supply, and kudos to 1217 for supplying.

All good man Opinions are what I want. Also, this is for sound and technically will be a working blow off valve system. There is no fake to it. It is actually a blow off system I have dsigned that will not have the issues of a bov on a maf setup. Technically 99% of bov applications are just for sound as 99% of the oem uses recirc items such as the sport 110 or 007 etc... If there was no boost in the car, then yes I can see it being like the fake intercooler

I look forward to hearing about the prototype and how it was designed. I'm definitely intrigued.

I'm interested. I'd like to hear it once you have a working prototype put together.
