Default JDM intake

Ok lets try this again, I am looking for a JDM intake for an xB, my last thread was locked and moved because the mod assumed I was looking for parts to a tC. I am about to buy an xB.

Agreed with hotbox, The only JDM intakes that i know of that MIGHT be of interest is the TOP FUEL if memory serves me there was someone on here getting one by way of a friend overseas at some auto parts fleamarket it was for the bB......in all honesty wouldnt be worth the money for it......youd be better off buying some knockoff slap a Greddy,Blitz,HKS Ect. sticker on the tube and call it a day.....i run the k&n....LOVE IT....but hey im hearing great things about the F5 Fjuita.....good luck

I am not looking for performance just the look, if I want to go fast it wont be in my xB or tC it will be in my wrx. Thanks for the replies! I was hoping ARC was making one but the top fuel sounds promising.

The Blitz Induction Cover is very very good.

People who don't own the Blitz are giving it negative reviews. And they are wrong.

However, if appearance is important then you will not appreciate the Induction Cover.

All that can be seen is a badge that fits on top of the stock air box and I put the BLitz Lightning bolt on it also.

The "drawing hot air" comment is just a parroted statement around here. When the car is moving the air is not that hot.

You will appreciate the tourque and the sound and the pep!

I dig that top fuel!

the air will still be much hotter above the trans than in the bumper.

That is what I hear. over and over

And air also has to travel all that distance from the bumper thru the pipe, etc.

Its a boring arguement.

I will trade a little hot air for torque any day.

It cost me $136 and the fit is perfect.

You won't regret it!

Thanks for the opinions guys and I think I will get the top fuel, now all I have to do is find it. I found the matching exhaust but have yet to find the intake.

Sorry bro didnt realive what was up man should of said jdm xb intake seeing as you riddin a tc...but got to say Blitz has really got my eye... have you ever heard of motion guys... well its does funny things like moves you into different air molecules that are not going to be the same temp as things around it maybe you were thinking these cars dont move, but thats just because you dont have the blitz.

Correct!

And. lets be honest. A chrome intake pipe has a certain pschological affect.

CAI may look nice but without tourque you are really losing something.

I had both and my former short was generic so I can't argue. but it did have a KN filter and two air razors inside it.

A product really shouldnt get critized by speculation.

Its understandable, but I figured since I was in the xb forum people would understand I was looking for an xb intake. The tC is my wifes I drive a wrx wagon that has become too modded to be comfy as a daily driver so I am looking at getting an xb for my daily driver. You know what kind of gas mileage you get on the open highway?

I have the Blitz SUS on my xA and of course its the same for your xB. I have never been more happy with any other intake in my life.

The looks are also great, and get lots of compliments from the JDM crowd.

those air razors are not good forperformance. and are for the most part snake oil for mileage as well.
