Default What are the plugs on the back of the stock HU?

Does anyone know, and know if there is a shematic for the plugs anywhere?

i need to figure out which one is the XM input. and possibly what pins are used for audio transmission, and not for channel changing functions.

thanks

the IP-BUS is propietary (and isn't the same as the regular Pioneer IP-BUS). Here's the schematic to the toyota HUs.

thats the outpt schematic, is there any schematics for the IP-BUS?

And with a quick search, there is RCA inputs for the normal pioneer IP-BUS. Does this mean it might be possible to use the Scion IP-BUS in the same way, but figure out witch pins coordinate to the audio inputs? Could i try this via trial and error? If i tried, could i damage my HU?

Yeah...if you don't know the answer to that, then you shouldn't even be tinkering with it. No, there are no schematics of the _propietary_ IP-BUS on the scion units. If we had schematics, there'd be a 3rd party XM adapter already.

In the below thread someone found a harness to convert from the scion input to the regular toyota input.

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=14499

it's a little convoluted, but it seems you could convert from the proprietary scion input to the regular toyota input to an rca input and connect whatever to that. if anybody has tried this, could they post a response.

thanks.
