Do you guys think it would be worth it to put in water wetter into the radiator with the 2005 since they are using this better quality radiator fluid?

UnFocused 06-24-2004, 06:22 PM that stuff is BS!! my friend put that crap in his civic- he told me he could "feel" the difference.... The first question to ask is "is there a problem with the cooling system?" If the answer is "no" (as it is for me, on the hottest days, steepest grades, with AC) then you don't need to experiment with the cooling system. Just stick to the factory recommendations and it will continue to work well. George UnFocused 06-24-2004, 08:37 PM One thing I dont like with the xB, is thier is no temp gauge. so its hard to gauge the temp with the blue light and red light... Infiz 06-24-2004, 08:54 PM You could add a water temp gauge very easily, if that's something that you're concerned about. There just isn't a problem with the cooling system at all, so you can be headed uphill to Vegas with the A/C on, and be OK, so pretty much unless the radiator cracks, or hoses leak, its going to be ok, versus some cars which you need to keep a close eye on during harsh conditions. dgHotLava 06-24-2004, 09:00 PM water wetter does work. i don't think you really need it yet. if you had a hard time passing emissions testing. this will lower the temp slightly, and reduce the emissions a bit. i run this in my motorcycle, and yes i can feel a diff. the same way i felt the CAI on my car. small but noticable.(*insert gf/bf joke here*) also if you have any type of race/track set up, you can't use anti-freeze. water and water wetter only... |
