$25.00 for some plastic plugs on http://www.bumperplugs.com/? No way. I’ll make my own. So here we go:

Measure your hole. (haha), and go to Home Depot and buy two of these plugs that fits perfectly in. The ones I got is a centimeter in diameter for the head and around a half a centimeter for the tail that goes in each hole. 35 cents each… they look like this:


Go get a bottle of spray paint that matches your cars color. I prefer Dupli-Color, (and it was just laying around in my room) Spray it like you mean it. You can sand it and also clear coat if you feel like but I had mine on for three months with just a few spray coats and no problems (car washes too).



Plug them right in, fits like a glove for me. Doesn’t fall off, and wayyyy cheaper than $25.00. I rather use the money to get some aftermarket bulbs. I know it’s not a perfect match for my Nautical Blue, but oh well, it’s just two centimeters of my car anyways. Better than a gasping hole right?

 

The other thing to get is the ones for panel pieces on the interior of cars, from auto zone. But if you have to have a front lp why move it? Just curious?

those things are sweet. I'd love to get my hands on them. I dont think that i've *ever* used my door locks the entire time i've owned my car.

yeah i stoped by home depot really quick and couldnt find them ... and i was in a hurry so i didnt ask anyone ... i would also like to know what are they called and what are they used for also ?? thanks ..

Yeah they're in the section with all the screws, washers, nuts, bolts, etc. they have these shallow metal cabinets that have these plugs in them with all sizes. They sell them in pairs, in little funny plastic baggies. haha. Not sure what they are for originally, I was just mozzying around. By the way, I used spray paint that is enamel spray paint. they last so much longer than regular! I painted the silver lining in the grill and also the scion logos with regular spraypaint with matte overcoast a few months back and started to chip already. The plugs and the wheel caps I painted stays good.

 

I FINALLY FOUND THESE SUCKERS !!! haha went to home depot the other day sprayed them white and put'em in!! haha .... Well worth my whole 35 cents haha and i must say they look pretty good! :D

 

They have these plugs at automotive stores as well.

Ive been running without my front plate since I got my tC. But, where I work we are buddy buddy with the police...so they don't bother us about anything, Tint/Front Plates/ Exhaust none of that. They're some pretty kool people when you get to know most of them.

 

yeah there in that section with the screws and stuff ....heres a pic of what the little baggie looks like, might help you find it... the size mine was said 315 on the bag haha... make sure you get the right size cuz i messed up and didnt look at the size and brought home a plug that DOESNT FIT ! but went back and exchanged it for the "right" one haha

 

for sum people wondering i just used this can of spay paint i found in my garage ... haha heres how it looks like, and yeah i was actaully pretty surprised it matched perfectly ... oh yeah and this paints holds good cuz i washed my car 2 times already and the paint still holding on ...
