Default Yet ANOTHER Ingall's review

FINALLY got my Ingalls torque damper kit from StreetRays.com today after 3 weeks of patiently waiting. Installed in about 20 minutes. Took a little longer and was a little difficult for me cuz i JUST woke up when Mr. Brown (UPS) pulled up, so i was installing with a fuzzy head

I have it set on MAX stiffness (10mm) and i may knock it down to 11mm for daily.

I really noticed a BIG difference when i started backing out of my driveway in reverse. Usually, in reverse, i hated how the engine would bog around a lot between getting on and off the gas. To my suprise, NO bogging!! Took it for a quick test drive and noticed shifting is a lot smoother. Only downfall is that the interior idles a little rougher, which is just fine, but quite a few things buzz now. The biggest annoyance was a buzzing coming from inside the rear seat overhead dome light. The sound was coming from the inner plastic clips buzzing against the roof support. I stuffed it with tissues, YES TISSUES!!! Only thing i had on me at the time. Did the job and currently have no buzzing, but we'll see what else this thing can vibrate loose in time. I'm 100% satisfied with the Ingalls. StreetRays.com is another story.....

If you are instrested in buying one i would suggest:

www.Dezod.com

and/or

www.KillertC.com

because both these guys have them IN STOCK (when i called them last week)

StreetRays had to order one from Ingalls themselves after i placed my order and that alone took 2 weeks for THEM to recieve it.

Yes we still have Ingalls Stiffys in stock and plan to keep it that way.

These parts really rock. Everything we've carried from them we've loved and this part is no exeption.

I installed one of this on my tC and the difference is night and day. For the money, without affecting your reliability at all, how could you not want this piece lol? It makes your car funner to drive, more responsive, and it looks nice. Add the fact that your motor wasn't being stressed any more than it was before, and the fact that you're putting much less stress on the drivetrain (less wheel hop) and you really can't go wrong. This part gets an A in my book. I've had the part installed long enough where I'm confident it will hold up for a very long time.

did u put dynamat down on the strut tower? your picture implies not. everyone says they are loud without the dynamat. if urs is live-with-able without dynamat then it'd prolly be great to you with it. plus i wanna know if it still rattles stuff with the dynamat in place.

I just installed mine today, and to no surprise i am very satisfied! I have it set at stock stiffness and rattling is VERY minimal. Rattling is so unnoticable probably wouldnt notice anything different when riding in my car. Cleaner shifts and better response is definately noticed plus it looks sexy. Here are some pics. Also i didnt use any dynomat. Well i havent yet anyway.
