View Full Version : Where to get Celica Injectors
rollhard 06-21-2006, 05:55 PM Ive been looking for the last couple of weeks and finally came up on this site.
http://www.fuelinjectorsdirect.com
They sell the 03-04 Celica GTS injectors for $64.95 which is a good price. I was wondering if there was a difference between the 03/04 and the 04/06 since they are listed differently. Will the 03/04 work on the XB?
rollhard 06-23-2006, 08:07 PM nobody knows if the 2003-2004 GTS injectors will work or not????
earpl 07-01-2006, 05:59 PM hi, posting from the uk here :), i looked into this the otherday and celica injectors have the same part number as the ones for the 1nz-fe (same injector) the only one of the newer toyotas that uses different injectors is the corolla compressor (240bhp) but i dont think you get that in the US. but just incase toy ondered the injectors should be good for 200bhp :)

Thanks for responsing. The reason I asked is because the 2003-2004 injectors have a different part number than the 2005-2006.
earpl 07-03-2006, 05:50 PM yeah??? in the uk the yaris Tsport, corolla Tsport and celica Tsport all have the same injectors, but they no longer sell the celica in the UK, as said before the only one with a different part number is the 240bhp corolla compressor
BrianxB 07-07-2006, 02:10 PM thats odd. I wonder why they would change the injectors. They all have the same motor. The motor changed to drive by wire in 2003 though...
rollhard 07-07-2006, 06:05 PM Im glad I waited. Someone was parting out their celica and JUST posted their injectors for sale last night. I picked them up for $79 :)
RTon20s 07-07-2006, 06:54 PM Nice score... Let us know how it turns out.
What do you have left to obtain before your next round of upgrades and dyno tuning?

Well, I am doing everything step by step. Some people go all out and buy everything possible, which could be overkill and end up hurting your performance. When these injectors go in, I will see how much richer I am running and most likely turn the boost up. Next thing I will be dyno testing is the Agency Power underdrive pulley. There are companies that make the pulley for the xb but i want to see if their claims of HP are for real. Ill be posting the test results on www.smoothlinezforums.com

Nice. I actually know two people with GTS injectors if someone else still needs them. I know one of them wants 100 bucks for the set.

sweet...what color are they...they make a few different color injectors for the 2zz with different cc ratings

They were a mustard looking yellow
chrischoi 07-07-2006, 11:07 PM i was gonna say newcelica.org, but nice find.
Simplyscion 07-08-2006, 01:18 PM ok, cool, those were the ones that I had too
earpl 07-08-2006, 03:25 PM as said before celica injectors are the same as in the 1nz-fe.......
Simplyscion 07-08-2006, 03:56 PM the 1zz may be the same injectors, the 2zz are definitely not
earpl 07-08-2006, 04:56 PM if the 2zz is the 190hp VVTL-i engine then yes they are the same, they are the same price and have the same part number
Simplyscion 07-08-2006, 05:10 PM theres 1 size for the american 1nz...its green in color, then for the 2zz you have grey colored and then the yellow ones which are around 380cc...the 1nz injectors are no way near 380cc...more like 280cc if I remember correctly
ProshopXB 07-08-2006, 10:45 PM Ohh so Rollhard is gonna run 380cc injectors??? I see you just had to out do my 370cc one's didn't you? Hurry up and get those suckers (or should I say squirters) installed and dyno it, jeeeeze. J/K

haha, no my 141whp is made with the stock injectors. Trust me, Im itching to put these on to see if I have enough fuel for more boost.
Baine 04-06-2007, 03:30 PM Hey Rollhard, I see a lot of your posts in F/I section and I need some advise.
I have been running my Blitz system for about a year now and it seems to
be running a little slow lately. I think I’m running a little lean and want to
change out the injectors. I’m not trying to build a racecar, I just want it to run
a little better. What has worked for you? Do you think the Greddy E-manage
is worth the $ for a daily commuter? I ONLY ever use premium gas and have
one degree cooler iridium plugs. Any help would you could give me would be
great.

great. Hey, I had the Celica GTS injectors in my car with the Blitz charger at one time... they were overkill, no top end acceleration. I could'nt compensate enough with the Camcon so I took them out 2 weeks later. And like I said before.. change your belt, I bet you it's slipping.
blown_xa 04-06-2007, 09:11 PM Go out and buy yourself some Prestone belt treatment. Only the Prestone works I found out. I call it HORSEPOWER IN A CAN if you are a supercharger owner. You will see, watch.
JSosa 04-08-2007, 02:33 PM Im currently using Celica GT injectors on my N/A setup, but its overkill, so i had to compensate as much as i could with the camcon and now it works well, not great, but well. I got my GTS injectors for the turbo setup im going to run and i got those for about $50.00 on eBay after looking for them for about 3 weeks.
You ran 141WHP on OEM injectors?? Do you have a fuel rail?? I can only imagine the extra 100cc's of gasoline will help you boost a couple of more pounds. But lets not get crazy with the boost because im sure you dont want a new engine, ahahaha!!!
butts_xb 04-13-2007, 12:22 PM I just read on a different form someones car caught on fire because they put these injectors in and they dont fit properly and so it leaked
JSosa 04-13-2007, 01:13 PM ^^^^ Thats true. ot dod take some encouragement and new O-Rings to get theinjectors to fit properly, if not they WILL leak. Im pretty amazed that the person who did that install didnt notice they had a leaky injector. You can hearthe gasoline squirting out the rail and not only that, but the smell is almost inbearable.
blown_xa 04-17-2007, 09:30 PM i just dropped the stock GTS injectores back in my car this morning..... holy crap my car wont go over 60mph it's so rich
blown_xa 04-17-2007, 09:31 PM gonna mess with the tune tonight..
blown_xa 04-18-2007, 09:13 PM ok....scrap that. If ur gonna slap larger injectors in ur car, be at the dyno. I just blew my motor trying to tune/compensate for the increased cc's
blown_xa 04-18-2007, 09:14 PM motor # 3 on it's way...
JSosa 04-18-2007, 11:18 PM HOLY $HIT!! How did that happen?? Another engine??? You have got to be the #1 client of your local junkyard, ehheheh. How did the injectors do that?? I put bigger injectors on my car and yes it ran CRAZY rich, but with a little tuning from the camcon the difference is clear.
illiST 04-19-2007, 01:24 AM ok....scrap that. If ur gonna slap larger injectors in ur car, be at the dyno. I just blew my motor trying to tune/compensate for the increased cc's
What were you monitoring A/F with?
frogbox 04-19-2007, 03:24 AM Instead of going to the celica injectors you might try some from the ol' Rav 4.
grey color, not the purple. they drop in, read no major mods, run at a little more than stock but less than the celicas do.
my box was running a little lean and the dealer couldn't fix it. it was the dealer that found it was running lean. they tried a number of things, I went to a auto recycler and found the Rav 4 to be drop ins. cured the lean.
really helped when i hit the juice (NO2) to keep enough fuel going.

What were you monitoring A/F with?AEM Wideband, was reading 11 to 1 when it blew, i was starring at it. I was probably running too much boost even though the AF was fine
LuNcHbOx13 04-28-2007, 05:55 AM hey frogbox what year and model rav4 injectors did you use in your box ? if you or some one else has a part# that would be great. thanx
