Default New Nittos

I had some severe tire damage from road debris. it was about time for some new tires, so i went and bought some nitto nt neogen zrs. i really like these tires. they're quiet, they hold the road like glue, and they seem to handle alright on water. better than the potenzas anyway. just thought i should throw this out there. i've been told to expect about 30000 miles with these tires at most.

i love nitto tires. Had them on my eclipse 2. I have 555's and have never hydroplaned at all in any wet weather. Were your tires worn from hard driving?

this was when i first got them. i do admit that at first, the hydroplaning was my fault, excessive speed going around corners and everything, and my driving habits changed. then, when i got ready to sell the car, i put the stock all seasons back on and was stunned at how much better the car handled in the wet. i expected slightly better wet performance, but the diffrence was night and day.

that's so odd...maybe a bad batch. I had the 555's on my eclipse also which had around 320whp (can't remember the exact number) and i never had a problem.
