You can see part of the bumper in the video, looks like it was a light color - SW, AP, SSM, CSM.

And why on earth did the car burst into flames? That's not a comforting feeling if Scions are prone to such a thing.

 

From what I hear it crashed into a concrete barrier that divdes an exit ramp from the bridge and then it flew across the whole thing..so i wouldnt be suprised if a car bursted in flames. scary though

listening to the report... they know 3 are dead... but could be others!?!?!? wont know till they move the car

 

That sux, the report makes it seem like they either fell asleep at the wheel or wanted to die. The witness said the car didnt swerve or skid before it hit the barrier, it just hit is straight on. Weird!!!

 

It was 3am when it happened. I think it was either drunk driving or....last minute change of lanes.

For some reason I get the feeling of aggressive driving. Maybe some road rage with someone else and the other car took off. That area where it happened is a tricky part of that bridge. It swerves to the left just a bit. Ive had troubles with it at night. but not like that.

 

From what the news said there was a witness that didn't observe any erratic driving or excessive speeds. So I'm thinking the that the crash didn't occur cause they were intoxicated or from road rage. It is strange though!

Maybe they just didnt know the conrete wall was there or they were texting while driving. Thatll get ya

 

Yeah there's so many things that could have happened to distract the driver. I hope they find out and disclose the information! I want to know!

damn that is so messed up but i am also concerned as to what caused the bursting of flames the way it did. i mean i dont know a lot about crashed but i have never heard of a car bursting into flames after a head on collision but then again i have never heard of anyone driving into to a concrete splitter like that!

The Gas tank possibly split and some steel part probably created a spark and then it ignited

One of my biggest fears is an accident like that. I hope that no one suffered. I cant imagine being in a wreck and having a few seconds to realize that you were stuck in a car then noticing it was on fire and you cant get out
