Alrighty,
Last time I posted an article I got ripped for being a 26 year old interested in wanting to push my car to the limit. In all truth, I kinda like the idea that I have a masters degree in Computer Science and have a good job and have the ability to have a mortage, a wife, and still have the money to work on my car. I have been doing some reading and have found many posts here comparing a TC to many others and after my mods that cost me plenty I have my own results that I would like to share with anybody who would like to read. If you get a chance check out my stats on my car. All mods were done by Jim barkly toyota in Asheville NC, where I purchased my car. And sorry for writing a novel.

Won:
2006 Cobalt SS with the supercharger
Acura RSX
Mitsubishi Eclipse( non turbo) and year unknown
Neck and Neck with a GT mustang. Probably around a 2000 model or so
BMW 330

Lost:
WRX (Obviously..lol)
2006 GT Mustang
Dodge Stealth Turbo
350 Z

Hope everybody enjoys

Not Dynoed my car yet, but I am going to next wednesday. The reason I posted this is because everything I read told me something different so I wanted to find out for myself. Also next week im getting the TRD Clutch installed

These are HIS relative kills. Therefore, the thread should not be locked, and is different from the other tC vs. The world thread, where it's based on car, and not driver experience. Which Driver Experience is a lot better than some theoretic discussion.

that, and why did you go with the overpriced TRD clutch?

I wanted to equip my car with the TRD package. AND I got the clutch for 100 bucks off of ebay from a guy who just had it installed and wrecked his car.

So you "obviously" lost to a WRX but then won against a car who runs better track times then a WRX (cobalt SS)? Riiiight.

A Cobolt SS runs better track times than the WRX...

yeah right, a Cobalt against a WRX STI. go try for yourself and get your own kills...dont critique mine till you post yours.

I have drove those cobalt ss with the superchargers and there crap. its a 2.0 liter enging and the HP output is just over 200. so there not powerhouses like everybody thinks they are.

I think it can be had by a S/C tC, so your victory is not a stretch of the truth.

You never said STi, in the post it said "WRX" which is alot slower then a STi.

Cobalt SS's run low 14s bone stock, a few have even broken into the 13s

They are still slow.

They are still slow.

You can get stage 1 & stage 2 from the factory and still keep the warranty.. The car is definately not slow with stage 1 & 2 (which is a very reasonable cost).

Umm, stock WRXs run high 13s, I have even some go for 13.6x.

They are definately faster than a Cobalt SS.
