Default bB conversion

Just a thought on a bB conversion. Do you really want to do it? If you change it over to a Toyota bB, won't you lose something in respect to having a Scion. Won't it be just another Toyota to everyone who doesn't know what a Scion is? To you it will still be a Scion, but to the uneducated masses, it will just be another Toyota. Just something to make you say "Hmmmmm?"

listen its cooler to have a car none have ( here in the US) rather than a car that thousands of people have. Think about it. Do you want a Rare car?

Don't get me wrong, I'm just toying with the idea. Is a bB rare here, yes. Is a Toyota rare here, no. Is a Scion rare here, I think that it is. I live in Iowa, not CA, or NY, or any other market that has had them for a while, but I think that there would be more prestige and pride in owning a Scion, rather than a Toyota.

To all of us here, yes, it'll always be a Scion, but to the masses, it'll just be another Toyota. I'm not knocking it, I've been thinking of getting the bB badges myself, just looking for some input.

If you want the bB bages go ahead. Some bB owners in Japan slaps Scion emblems. But emblems alone wont be a true conversion. JDM bB stuff is expensive. I actually removed the rear emblems and kept my front Scion grille emblem.

That's what I was thinking of doing. i.e. Scion and bB emblems. That way ppl still know that its a Scion.

To all their own...

It's all about style. I liked the bB emblems for the fact that I have JDM parts on my xB.

It just flows together...

I went with the bB badge on the front cuz it was smaller and less noticable. The back is clean shaven .

I suppose if you were absolutly desperate for a bB you could fly over to Japan, buy one, and have it shipped over to the states. Although it might be a bit awkward with the drivers seat on the right side of the car.

there is one floating around ..... xB badge on a BCP .... i think its from indoneasa

i swapped badges since i have a "black box" ...... and i like the emblem better since its square and the only round aspects to the car were the badges

to each his own..everyone wants something he can't have. back in the days when i owned a lexus rx300 (model year 99). i hooked up with someone in japan and he and all his friends wanted to buy the "lexus" and the "rx300" emblems since their version is the toyota harrier. admittedly, it was kinda cool to drive around in my toyota harrier for 2 years with a japanese front plate too.
