I'm going to Michigan to visit my family and a friend for a few days. While i'm there, i'm hoping to meet some Scion people.. maybe we could do lunch or something. I'm also interested in seeing what kind of interest you guys have up there, and possibly starting a Great Lakes region Scikotics chapter! If your in a club, or not interested, i would still like to meet up with some people. Monday, i'll be in the Lansing area, and Tues, i'll be in the *******/Traver City area.

Lansing is about 1 hour east of me I'd be interested in meeting up but I do have to work 8-5.

I would like to meet up with you but Lansing is a little far for me... good luck on starting the Skiotics chapter in Michigan, it's hard to find Scion Owners in this area that are willing to put in the time and dedication it takes to run a club.

Lord knows I'm looking forward to the day that there is another club in Michigan so that I can start actually enjoying events instead of worrying about the planning, that they are going smoothly and that everybody is having a good time.

Please keep me posted on the new Michigan club so that SE: Detroit can attend the Skiotics events, shows and meet-n-greets and you can do the same.

A local club sounds cool, but I don't know if I fit the club profile, as I don't have a lot of cash for mods, just a poor student ;)

 

There's been a local club for 2 years now, SE: Detroit. We have something going on every weekend... non-SE members are just as welcomed as SE members. Everybody that owns a Scion fits the profile.

It's not about who's in what club... it's about Scion owners getting together and hanging out.

I agree with what was said above. People get together to hang out... the car is what brings us all together. I'm in no way trying to take people from SE-Detroit at all. To be honest, i wasn't even sure there was a club of any form up there (no offence to any of you). I more or less just wanted to meet people, you know. Don't get the wrong idea about me guys.
And as far as being in a club... Stock cars are welcome. its all about hanging out, and having fun.... not about whos ride is better than whos.

Chris, I'm going to try to get out there on Monday night since I don't have to work on Tues. I'm not sure if Rick is coming out or not.

I'm guessing I won't be able to make it out till around 7, depending on where we meet.

 

Let me clear it wife the wife first... 4 months pregnant so she's got the final say in pretty much everything.

hmmm really not much different than before the pregnancy.

that may work though cause even if she has to work on Mon, she get's off at 4 and I have plenty of time to get over to Lansing by 7.

I remember an Outback steakhouse right off the highway in lansing. It's on the west side but is is an easy on and off highway meeting place.

hey guys. if this is a for sure thing, someone needs to let me know. I'm leaving my house at about 8 tonight so i'll be in Lansing around 9-10 sunday morning. I'll be taking a nap as soon as i get there!
