where can i buy heat wraps for headers? what brand? and can i put it on the s pipe?

You can buy heat wrap at any of the auto parts stores. Action Auto, Schucks, etc..costs a bit, but it's there. You can put it on your s pipe no problem.

I work at Advance Auto parts and we carry it. Good stuff. I think it's $30 - $40.

Any benefits performance benefit from this, beside lower engine compartment temps and lowering the life expectancy from the header?

btw you don't have 2 headers you only have one header

Wont it cause the headers to crack and break? Why not just jet coat it?

its been 1 year since ive wrapped my megan header/spipe. no cracks no leaks.

wrap it right, bake it right, take care of it right, then you should be good.

if it does crack, the cost of replacing it now is cheaper than what i paid for.
