Default New mods, new pics

So I got my Verde Vain 17" wheels and ES vent visors, so I thought I'd post a pic.

Here's a shot of my cheap woodgrain dashkit. I know most don't like it, but I do and that's what counts, right?

Now, I just need to find curtain parts.

i like the rims and the wood trim. curious how much the cost was for both of them? what about the difficulty of putting all of the trim?

looking around on this forum just makes me want a xB that much more

Rims and tires were $800 from victoriatire.com.

Woodgrain was $40 from eBay, and I got a blank sheet of the same material for another $40 to do the A-pillars, steering wheel inserts, etc. It took some time to put on, but I just wanted to be careful. About 3 hours total to get everything right.

Thanks!

As for getting it to stick, it's basically a vinyl sticker with the wood pattern printed on it. Peel, stick, trim as necessary.

Is it real wood or just a vinyl sticker.

Did the vent visors use tape, or do they just stay in?

I like the woodgrain kit.

Are you going for a VIP look?

The ventvisors just stick on with 3m tape. Seems pretty sturdy for now, anyways.

As for the look, I like most of the VIP style, but I think the crazy drops and cambers would sacrifice too much reliability. I guess I'm going for a functional VIP look.

I like the wood trim! Lookd awesome!! I looked on ebay for carbon fiber in a color(I want a green&back,I'm trying to match my RS3) but, only can find gray/black or silver and of course the wood. Do you were I could find any in colors??

I got the kit from rvinyl.com, they sell on ebay but it's the same price on their website. They have a bunch of different carbon fiber ones and colored ones, but I don't think they have colored carbon fiber.

The fit is near perfect, if you take your time. I did get a couple of extra pieces that I had no idea where they go, and was missing one window switch cover but they sent me a new one the day after I emailed. Can't go wrong for $40!
