Default Alarm randomly goes off, need advice before i take it in

2 times now in 2 weeks ( that i know about ) my scion security alarm has randomly gone off. There was no car driving by or anything out of the ordinary to trigger it, just goes off like someone is breaking into it.

Anything i should check before i take the car in and start b!tching to scion?

TIA

Sounds like they put the sensitivity on the highest setting when they installed it. They can adjust the setting for you at the dealer. At the highest sensitivity level, even a small burst of wind can set it off.

ok, that might be it, but in that case wouldnt go off all day along especially if some ricer with an exhaust drives by (which happens a lot) instead of randomly like it is now at 9:00pm and no one is on the street?
