according to the aem web site it dose. i noticed the differance once i put in the aem over the stock box much better that stock. i had a k&n filter on a car in the past and noticed the improvement as much as the cai. and any dealer is going to say that the mod you did on the cars is going to void the warrenty they are just di*k's like that

basically all intakes produce the same amount to within maybe 1hp. I personally like the style of the K&N because it has almost no bends and simply drops down to suck up all the good air. I still dont know much about having the 03-05 intakes in an 06+... I wouldn't worry about the dealer _____ing too much unless you do screw something when you put it on, otherwise as long as unrelated problems occur they have nothing to hold against you.

The numbers may differ, but there is no argument the less bends the better, and the injen/K&N have very few while the AEM has nearly 5. Plus, differing reports of quality lead me to believe it isn't a worthy product, especially for such a price.

It is deeper...some louder, but not too loud... It's kinda hard to describe...but it's just the right pitch.
