If anyone has a speed grill and/or wants lower speed grills please respond.

I am talking to a well known company to try and get them to make a pair of lower speed grill inserts. They told me that they needed to see how big the market and need was for this product for the xB. This company currently makes speed grills for trucks and suvs.

I'd be interested... only if they could match the look & color of the JDM Speed grill. So, if they can obtain that, hopefully at a decent price, I would be very interested!

They are still working on it. It WILL match the color and style of the JDM speed grill. The company wants to see if there is a market first. SO I NEED everyones helps.

Do we have any estimate on what the street price will be? Obviously, if it is 500-600 for just the lower pieces, that is way too high for me. $200-$400 range, and we can talk. And just to make certain, the look of the grill will have the same size expanded metal & angle of bend to match my speed grill? Sorry if this is redundent, but if they are seeking input, I want it to be a close of match as possible.

has anyone seen a picture of the lower mesh type grill by grillcraft? A link was posted a while back displaying the part and price, but not a picture.

The company is thinking of backing out. They think there is already the product out there. I will try to convince them otherwise. Sorry to get people so happy waiting.

the grillcraft one is nasty - it totally doesn't look the same as the speed grill.

that company should totally make one that matches the speed grill - people would totally rock that!

Company told me that the grille should be coming out soon. They have not sent me any pictures yet and I don't know a price. I hope it matches the speed grille.

If they can make the top one cheaper than the insane $400 japanese version i'm sure lots of people would rock them.

I got an estimated price of $190 for the two lower grilles. I am still trying to get the upper price. I will hopefully be having a group buy and some more info soon. The price will be lower. I am also trying to get a price for the set for those without the JDM speed already.

OK...here is the low down...The grille is built, but now the company says it will not be released to the "public" for 3-6 months :evil: ya it sucks. I called around and have been talking to some motorsport shops and some said I can get it for $190 and it will take 10 days to get to the shop. I need to double check to make sure this is the same grille. The part number matches.
When I get time...I will see if it is the right grille. If it is I will release the part number to you all so you can get it "special order" not to the "public". I don't want to give it out yet because I don't want to get blamed for giving out poor information and having people have a crapy mathed grille.
The grille comes in either CROME or the same finish as the current upper speed grille. For those that DO NOT have the upper one already, you can get an upper one to match.
