I hooked up some 12" Cold Cathode Flourescent's under my hood to give the engine bay a nice blue glow to match my interior lighting and my blue trunk light mod (i'll post pictures of the trunk mod and a FAQ later tonight)

Here's a couple of shots of the final result:

basicly the mod consisted of:

2x 12" Cold Cathode Flourscent Lights
2x Cold Cathode Inverter Boxes
1 Micro Togle Switch
1 Inline Fuse Holder (with a 5 amp fuse)
Assorted lengths of wire
A soldering iorn and some solder

took about an hour or so to install and get it to where it looks 100% stealth, in the daytime you'd never even know it was there and at night the tubes are tucked up under the fenders far enough to hide them unless you put your head on my engine cover :)

thanks! ya i was at the meet, me and Jon both drove out straight from his house after he installed my SPFR intake.

hehe, randode, i allready have the factory lighting, i know it's not as bright, but i drive a lot at night when them on and find they are just perfect for me, i think the cct's would be too bright for my taste - but for the trunk and the engine bay i wanted as much visable light as possible so that's why i used them! :)
