help! I'm so confused. I've searched..but the more I look, the more confused I get.
I went to the auto part store close to me today to get some new brighter/whiter headlights for my 06 xB. The guy at the store told me I needed these...and he handed me the silverstar 9006 ST lights, so I bought them. I was going to put them in tonight, but I got on here before I went to install them to see what they looked like...and every post says for the headlights I need the 9003's, and that the 9006's are for foglights. But I saw posts where people put the 9006's in their xB.. Is that right? Are these ment for foglights? If I install the 9006 ST's will that mess anything up?

i need someone to clear this up for me before i install these.

I used 9003's for my headlight bulbs.

1157's for the turn signals.

 

that doesn't help me tho =\ If I replace my stock headlights with the 9006ST's...will that mess up anything or melt my headlight housing?

Thank you Tomas. Looks like i'm making another trip to the auto store tomorrow. Do the 9003's look much better than the stock headlights? Thanks again.

 

I rolled up on one of my buddies sitting on a corner talking on his cellphone and shined my brights on him. He thought i was a cop.


Yeah...they're gooooood.

 

The 'stock' bulbs are no slouches, but the 9003STs are certainly brighter and whiter. :D
