Default Greddy E-manage quesiton for ZPI or Dezod

Well I want to put an AEM on my car but now looks like my new Brother in Law is going to give me his E-manage from his civic for free! Its only a year old. I have some questions what accessories should I get for the e-manage if I go that route. I will spend what ever it takes to make the car as safe as possible and reliable and easy to install. I know Dezod and ZPI could probably help with this. I would probably buy my stuff from you guys.

Keep in mind that if he has an emanage that came with a Greddy turbo kit for his car it wont work. Those blue boxes are not programable and come from greddy with their honda software installed specifically for that car.

If its a universal, then you are good to go. As far as accessories, I would recommend the pressure sensor and a jump harness if you dont feel 100 percent comfortable doing the wiring. It will save you a lot of headaches.

The universal ones have the port on the side that you can hook into your lap top.

The pressure sensor helps with the tuning greatly. It makes the off boost side of the map much, MUCH better and the transition much smoother. Its basically a MAP sensor that the emanage uses to know how much manifold pressure the engine is seeing.

Is that something thats needed if you get it tuned by someone else? I don't plan to tune my car myself for a long time cuz I know nothing about it.

So it is adds fuel as the boost goes up or lessens safer and more drivable. Am i right?

Its all bs, the car still learns and leans as the weather changes. Constant ecu resets are sweet.

I haven't had to reset our ecu but once, to clear out the old codes from the CEL we got. We had older codes that were just still reading, and then when I reset the ecu to find what "real" codes it was sending, it was that of the Primary 02 sensor.
