Does anyone know what size the thread is in the back of an xB shift knob? i have an automatic, but i am making a shift knob for someone.
i wondered if anyone knew, so i dont have to buy one to find out.

I'm not exactly sure what the size is but i can tell you that it must be a pretty common size. I've screwed in a honda civic shift knob before and i'm currently now using a leather knob from a subaru wrx. they all twist in nice and snug.

They are standard toyota size.. M12 P1.25 if that helps...

You are correct the 1st gen & 2nd gen manual gear box are indeed factory toyota size M12x1.25.
