Default A few questions

1. Where is the cabin air filter?

2. What do I buy to help smooth the ride of my box?

3. I can't find ny sites that have the things I want and need to buy (wheels, interior/exterior stuff and stock parts to replace things). Do you know any sites?

1. behind the glove box on the a/c case. It's a tray that slide out.
2. Monroe sensatrac shocks for the rear. Have them look them up for the 2000-2003 Echo. They sell them at Napa.
3. For everything but wheels and tires I use http://www.ssuperstore.com/

For wheels and tire packges here are a few links

I went out to look for the filter but I couldn't find it. Do I have to take out the glove box or something? Or is it the hollow metal rectangular box underneath in the lower foot area?

Yes, take off the glovebox door to gain access to it. You have to squeeze the sides together and get those tabs past the opening then fold down and pull out. Door will come free. Just reverse for reattatchment.

I am getting wheels of this site, but I'm thinking about going biger than 15".

1. If stay at 15" can I still use my stock tires?

2. What is the biggest size wheel I can go with the xB without mods or messing with the car?

You can do just 15 inch wheels then re-use your tires. I was gonna do the till I started seeing packages for 17" wheel and tires for 200 bucks more than just wheels. 17" with 215/40/17 will fit with zero mods to anything and should ride real close in quality to the stocker 15"ers. Good luck and keep us posted with what you decide to do Bro!

Forgot to mention if you go 17's you'll still have the 15's for winter duty

If you're thinking about getting 15" rims, I'd go the extra step and get better tires while you're at it....

I just got a set of Falken ZIEX ZE 512's, 205/55-15, and they are leaps and bounds better than the stock tires. MUCH better in the rain especially! I got them from edgeracing and it was a little over $260 (including shipping).

Advanced must have gotten tired of us coming in and asking for something they didn't have on the shelf. Then they started carrying it. I even gave the part # to my local store.

Dave, Any chance of adding Envy green to the list of colors?

Also were you at Exposed 06'? We didn't get to meet.
