Well, after a little mishap involving taking the wheel's stickers/decals off and polishing compound...I painted my wheels from silver to a flat dark machine gray. I was at the TSW meet on Sunday night at Krispy Kreme..let me know what you guys think :D

Just curious but what did you do that caused the problem?
I am thinking of having the labels removed when I get them, but I don't want to have to paint the wheels :X

thanx peter, im gonna try to start going to the meets on sundays if i have enough time, it was coo even though i was there for 20 minutes
chewd0g - on the front left wheel, there was some residue left on the wheel and a little black mark from me using a razor blade...i thought polishing compound would get the residue off, but applying it only made the black mark bigger, so at that time i guess the finish of the wheel was screwed...so i ended up painting all of the wheels instead of buying a new wheel

Aah, someone in another thread said to use something like a credit card. I guess there's something about it that won't scratch the wheels.
Thanks for the heads up!

Looks Great! Kind of curious however, did you use a spray gun or aerosol cans, and what type of paint did you use used?

RogerTTR - i used rustoleum aerosol can spray paint from home depot, its the one with the hard hat on it, you can also go to autozone and buy duplicolor paint (they have more colors to choose from)
rolex87 - i tried that, but the rest of the stickers wouldn't come off, i tried my best to do it with my fingernails, but it didn't work =/

Were the rims used or real hot? I made sure the rims were cold so the adhesive wouldn't adhere as much.
