Default Test drove the '07

I test drove the '07 the other day and couldnt tell a difference from my '06. I got mine less than a month b4 the drop of the '07, so I'm glad I didnt wait. The little extras on the '07 dont really impress me enough to have waited.

Theyre changing the exhaust mani a bit... which is why the 05/06 S/c wont fit the 07's.

MAF Sensor is different, so the current intakes/turbokits will not work on the 07s till they make adjustments.

You know, I went to a dealership in northern California, and they just had a new shipment of tC's that came in, so assuming it's the '07s. Of course I rocketed over there to see what differences they had. And I noticed that some of them had hub caps! Didn't the '05 and '06 all come standard with alloy rims? Plus I noticed that some of the steering wheels didn't come with audio controls. Are they taking some of the stuff that came standard in the earlier years from the '07s?

^you saw the spec package. the spec package has wheel covers, the normal 07 tc's have the same alloy rims. dont fret.

i woudlnt want to wait for compaines to remake all their products because of the simpliest changes that scion made. IE: exhaust mani and the new MAF. soooo 05-06 PWNS 07 regardless of resale.

therefore, 05-06 is better in the mod dept. but 07 is better in the resale/value dept.

I bet they did the changes to increase the accessory sales huh? Change the sensor so everyone else would have to either take the time and money to produce another product and the exhaust the same. Does scion already have all those products ready? If so, then I guarantee that's why they did it.

Well Toyota has the Exhaust for the tC, but they didn't change anything from the cat back IIRC so all aftermarket (including TRD) exhausts should fit the 07... the real thing is in the intakes. TRD DOES have an CAI for the tC, unfortunately it's not street legal so it was never released. The CAI for the xA and xB were even recalled because of that. Of course, they're going to have to redesign it anyways because the MAF sensor is different...

I think it was pretty stupid what they did with the manifold... yeah it might increase effeciency by a percent or two, but now they have to redesign the SC...
