New to Scion
Hey all,
First off I have to say reading lots of info on this site has really helped me out to see all the mods you can put on a xA. A few questions I have though are about the mods themselves and from people who use them. I was looking into adding a little more performance to my rig and a few of my friends (non Scion people, shame on them) suggested that I put on a cat back exaust and a cold air intake to increase power. From what I have read under the vehicles heading is that not all of TRD equipment is a good choice and I would like to know what others use out there to get some more get-up-and-go out of the xA. Also I would like to know (because I have never modded out a car before) what are the actual performance benifits I would see.
Thanks all for this wonderful website, and for posting all this info

Intake guide (note these are for 03-05 models there's nothing out there for the 06 that I know of.)

You could put on a cat-back but the performance gains are minimal, most people simply slap on an axle-back for the sporty sound.
Whatever you end up buying Do it Yourself! Dont buy through the dealership and dont pay them to put it on, Intakes and Exhausts take very little time and knowledge to put on.
