i just installed a new head unit.. and it has bass when on local radio stations.. but when a cd is put in there is no bass from my sub! none!. any idea what could be wrong? also.. the bass is not as deep with the new h/u as it was with the stock h/u...

Sounds like you tapped the remote turn on for the amp to the power antenna wire(blue) and not the amp turn on wire (blue/white stripe). Check that out and switch it and you should be set.
