It's door dings waiting to happen. there'd be another car in between the 2 boxes if we were in italy midtowndesi 07-18-2006, 10:49 PM Uhhhh I am living that picture: http://home.nyc.rr.com/singhconsulting/misc/the-fleet.jpg Those are both of my boxes: One hulk of $65,000 (paid in cash) fuc*ing rust and the other is my awesome car which I use now almost exclusively. The other just sits in my driveway hoping it was built better and didn't rust so ____ing badly after only 3 years. - sh00k ps - the only thing that the hummer is good for is getting girls - and i am not exaggerating. I have gotten so many girls to pay attention to that car, and i've gotten a lot of BENEFITS as a result :silly: Worth the $65,000? no because the build quality is horrible and it's rusting more than it should. i bought it brand fuc*ing new in 2004, with 4 miles on the odo. It is now up to about 17k miles - i dont drive it in the snow, when it rains, i dont even drive it after the snow has melted and there is still salt on the fuc*ing streets. yet, still, with all that f*cking babying, it still manages to rust on me. I am doing well for my age but ever since I've bought the hummer, I am living by two principles: 1) Never buy an american car again in my whole life 2) I'm never spending more than 20-30k on a car ever again. and if anyone thinks im biased AGAINST american cars, let me give you a list of my previous cars: 1986 monte carlo super sport, 1984 buick grand national, 1999 dodge durango, 2003 chevy avalanche - i think that's all of 'em. I can sell my hummer now for like 30-38k but i am not going to part with it. It still brings me more girls than the xB ever could. Both have their plusses and minuses. This has been a truly honest and unbiased review/write up. pleas feel free to PM me if you have any comments or questions - i will be more than happy to elaborate/provide you with more details. ps - i have seen the post on here about door parts on the xB rusting - this didnt make me sad or upset since I ONLY SPENT $17K CASH ON THE BOX - COMPARED TO THE $65K+ I SPENT ON THE HUMMER . tC4italy 07-19-2006, 12:18 AM wow you ARE a 'man' with morales :rofl::rofl: (note the heavy sarcasm) ScionBandit 07-19-2006, 02:39 AM H2  lonestar 07-19-2006, 04:34 AM Dang, those parking spots sure are tight. It's door dings waiting to happen. Visit the parking lot in my apartment complex an you would cry. Trucks park literally inches from my car and leave 2 feet on the othe side. :flame: House here I come! just one more month... :D Jeremiah_xB 07-19-2006, 07:44 PM wow you ARE a 'man' with morales :rofl::rofl: (note the heavy sarcasm) real men use their vehicles to get girls  midtowndesi 07-19-2006, 07:49 PM You don't need a nice car to get girls - but you can't say that it doesn't help you either! I've had so many girls flag me down as I'm driving by in the Hummer askin' for a ride, and then getting their numbers. They see a young guy in a hot car and they flock to you. This has been my experience ;] Don't twist my words to fulfil your needs - that's not nice. Not once in my original post did I say that the hummer is the ONLY WAY that I get girls - so I suggest you guys stop fakkin' around. - sh00k tC4italy 07-19-2006, 07:57 PM might not be nice of us but that's how u came across oh and it's not nice to shove in ppls face that u get girls from right and left, up and down, between and around and that u PAID CASH!!!! for both cars - that's being a lil aloof don't u think so? :ponder: Jeremiah_xB 07-19-2006, 07:58 PM girls ask you for a ride? lol...that's quality...they must have been waitin on the bus...j/k i'm happily married, i just think it's funny that i never used a vehicle to get a chick...maybe i played my cards wrong this whole time o_0 |
