So i just bought the ped. spoiler for my tc, got a great deal on it..... went down to the Toyo dealer and they want almost 200 just to install the stupid thing.... it's already painted, it just needs to be drilled to my car. SO, does anyone know any good body shops or friends/family members to refer me to? I'm not looking for a discount from anyone, it just defeats the purpose of getting a "deal" only to have to pay an arm and a leg to get it installed.... any suggestions are appreciated!

yeah... there's a template that they use to mark the spots needed to drill.. but you can always do it this method to save you the trouble.. and you can remove it without worrying about holes.

The install time in a service department should be 1 hour... if you can get to Puyallup, I can get that done for you for WAY less than 200. I would strongly urge you to consider letting a dealership install that one.... there is not much room for error, if a friend screws up, you will likely have the cost of the repair on your hands.... a dealership will make it right!

Raine - if you can make it down to Puyallup one of these days we can have a SDG meet in this neck of the woods while the local dealership installs the spoiler. Maybe we can call Niki!

Well hey that sounds like fun.... Steve thanks! I'd actually really love to take it down there, with the drive between Puyallup and Everett and my work schedule, i don't know if i can get down there soon.
I went back and looked at it and laughed. There's NO way i could put it on myself, i'd never think it was centered. But i REALLY appreciate your offer steve! And C.A we need to track down Niki, that girl has been MIA far too long!

yeah.... don't do that..... Toyota has a number of very very very very very talented engineers figure this stuff out so it all works like a Toyota should.... I have yet to see one of our techs use a dremel... Letting someone drill into your car can be scary.... we have a guy that has done it literally a hundred times...

If you were in Portland, I'd do it for you for free, with the template... it's insanely error proof and I've done two lip spoilers without an issue... Just need a good drill/the template and about 30 minutes...
In Wa, the dealer is your best bet... it's good for peace of mind.
