I want to see pictures of people who lowered their car. Scions seem to have nasty wheel gap but their bodies are already really low to the ground so I'm wondering how much they can be lowered without the body scraping on speedbump.

probably for another 2-5 inchez i mean check it out now how lot it is and take in place that the speed bump'z are about 2-5 inches high ......

I don't mean like the under part of the car hitting something I mean like the "fender extension pads" and lower bumper lip hitting every bump and curb.

This is with DF210's. This picture was taken a few hours after install and the car has settled just a bit more since then. I've only scraped once to date, and that was going idle speed up a nasty driveway. It barely scraped. I haven't had any problems with any speed bumps.

Yeah that drop looks awesome!

I have Eibach's that give a 1.5" drop. I scrape all the time and have tapped a few speed bumps with the front subframe. I would not go lower.

If you dropped your car 5" as was suggested by an earlier post you will have about an inch from the ground to the subframe! More than 2" and you will have a bunch of problems unless your local roads are VERY smooth.

there is already a thread in the photo gallery for xA photos...although it doesn't say lowered.... considering there aren't that many xA's compared to xB's owners who share photos....... :oops:

I should be receiving my springs pretty soon & dropping my xa about 2'..Once I do I'll post pictures & update everyone for sure about the feel of things.

I think I'm going to go with 17s on mine but I think I might go with those tanabe springs, they make the car look much better.

My only concern is not being able to get my car onto a lift at work if it is too low, that would suck.

Love the Enkei RS5's, I'll be getting a set in 16", I know only a +1 wheel is weak, but it will be a daily driver and my fiance hates stiff rides, also with the winter here in the midwest sucking so much, we need the all-season tire options that the 16" size provides. I would rather grab a set of 17s and swap rims out for the different seasons, but when we get the Scion, we will have three cars to do that with.

I was also thinking about the TRD springs, but the person said that he scrapes all the time with only a 1.5" drop, I think we'll skip it, Missouri has the crappiest roads I have ever seen.
