Default will i screw up my tranny with my shift mods?

i have the cable bushings, the creative compacts base bushings, and a creative compacts short shifter.

i'm just wondering if all that non-shock absorbing equiptment will add more strain on to the tranny

speed-source cable bushings will not add any problems to your transmission...

The only reason they use stock rubber inserts would be to try and isolate cabin vibrations, but we have sold a nice amount of kits and never had any complaints about vibrations ;)

From the factory, they tend to use rubber in a lot of places that you don't "need it"... performance is not always in mind as much as economy/mass production
