The other day I installed a DC Sports strut bar, slight improvement in turn in. Nothing spetacular, but then I wasn't expecting much.

Then today I get home from work, and a nice box from toyotparts4u.com is sitting by the front door. My TYC taillights are here. I just put them on and DAMN they are nice. Much much better than stock. They look incredible on my blue onyx pearl.

My JDM foglights should get here in a few weeks. they are on back order. Ordered them from Carson Toyota.

I also ordered a K&N Typhoon intake, and about to order a Borla exhaust.

The wife is gonna kill me........................... :D

Cool, glad to hear that you have big plans for you xB! I have been wondering if I should get the TYC tailights or not, on a Camo xB. I think stock looks fine, but something tells me that I will start to get tired of them soon..

sorry to get off topic. I just ordered my tyc lights. i'm getting black housing projectors when they get to the shop. I've done a bumpin' system, I dropped it, and I got rims. I think that its really addictive, maybe I should go talk to someone. :lol:

anyone know of any engine swapping either happening or being talked about? very curious about engine mods. i really want to know what's out there before i buy. not that it will stop me from buying b/c they are awesome. just curious.

I think some guy was going to do one probably 5 months ago, from an mr2. does anyone know if he did it??

i just got my tyc's on my black box last night, they looK AAAAAMAZING. i'm in love with em, cant wait to start on more mods :-)

People keep having these daydreams... them they wake up and go drive their boxes. To my knowledge it hasn't happened yet - Personally, I'm doubtful it ever will. it's one thing to stick a different engine in an older car but I wanna see someone cut up their new box to do it...

I can see it now...a forced-induction 24-valve V6, maybe 300 hp and 250 ft-lbs of torque, manual transmission, stuffed into an xB with a one-piece tilt front-end; oversized cross-drilled rotors with bigger brakes on all four corners; airbag suspension; and mostly stock-looking, a real sleeper...wow, now that would be one cool box car...

There are a few people in the US and Japan who have dropped Celica GTS motors into the box. From what I can gather, it's a pretty easy, straightforward swap. I, for one, lust after an xB with a GTS motor and 6-speed.

the dc strut bar is a nice setup. it is very similiar to the hotchkis one.
