What happened to the black key in 2007!?

All they offer is the Gray...not cool at all

Is it not availible, discontinued!?

 

what are you smoking... the tc keys were always grey... gray.. whatever...

in 07 they put little seperators in the key.. cuz the cover/buttons were wearing out..

 

yeah...I have never seen a black one.. other than one that someone covered in black vinyl

 

actually... i kinda know what he is talking about...

i had a brand new rav4 i believe it was in for a deck the other day.. and when i grabbed the key it looked just like mine... just black... i was like damn... thats pretty raw... i went to the dealer to ask if i could get my key in black... the guy ended up telling me that the black keys were only for toyota and had heard nothing on scion getting thier keys in black.... now i would imagine... if you want to spend the money... get a unprogrammed toyota key thats black... and just swap the covers... that might work.... but besides that deal the gray.... everyone else has..

 

yes, the toyota keys.. for the rav and such.. are like the tc keys.. but they are black... with the dividers..

 

Yeah, I cant say my key is on my list of things to change

there was one guy on here i think that painted his key.. taped off the scion logo and sprayed it with trim black paint.. that was great

so about these "dividers" ? will our keys will break since the 05's and 06's don't have it?

 

i think this one guy wrapped his with plastic.

 

my buddy did it with viynl.

 

That guy's got way too time on his hands.

I still think it is funny that the key is such a big deal.. hell, I could really care less if it was pink

omfg.....why is this post still having replies...??? its a god damn key... get over it... its gray... not black.... so what.... they people that put forth the effort to paint it... why not put that towards the actually looks/performance/sound of the car.... last time i checked... at a car show, you didnt get dinged points for having a fugly key...
