Default New TC or Used Hard to find TC?

Hey guys the other thread got a little hairy so i decided to start my own topic. Ive been trying to use the 'find TC' options and such but they have showed up as zero results. I live in Florida and all i really car about is that I have it in

Black Sand Perl
Manual
Side & Side Curtain Airbags
Door Speaker Upgrade & Amp
Pioneer AM/FM/CD + Ipod Capability

I have about 1 or 2 months to search for it. My father said that it makes much more sense to just find some dealer in the USA that has the car with those specifications and have them ship it to florida. It seems pretty logical but I dont know how easy it will be to find that car.

-Edit-
Yes I have looked into the classifieds and they give you the basic car and then thez say you can have only a few options. Hopefully I did skip over any cars in my search, its bad how you cant narrow your search even more so than model/year!

Just go to the dealer and request a dealer trade. They'll look it up and see whats available in the region. If you order.. that could take up to 6 months. You're ordering from japan. It'll take a while.

I just bought a tC today (put a deposit down) but won't have a car for a week... anways, the point is that I looked for a while for side airbag + 5spd + FM (BSP might be easier) and I didn't find any, even after some crazy searching. Anyone who might've been able to help was 3-4+ hours away. Obviously not an option.

Anyways, be prepared to sacrifice side airbags or accept a dealer trade (I personally would never do that since it means some stranger driving your brand new car at highway speeds and adding 100+ miles on it...

good luck bro, but your best bet is to look up the dealers in your area, and check their invetory online. Some dealers use the older invetory system, so its best ot just call them

Have you checked in the classifieds section of this site? They usually have some tC's in there for a pretty good price.

it doesn't take 6 months to get one if they order it, it's usually 6-8 weeks. it might be 6 months in a couple very rare cases or something. but i got mine in 2 weeks.

One thing to keep in mind is if you order a new one and it is delivered from the factory, it will be an 07. No more porduction on 06's. There have been some changes between the two models so make sure you are getting what you want.

ok idioth... yeah.. th* bsp easier... silver is easier if any color...
that stranger is a retired person.. who is just trying to pay some taxes and bills... usually he is anyway.. he's not there to beat your car. you can always complain to the dealer.. and they'll work something out... maybe throw in extra oil changes or something... you're dumb.the dealer is trying to work something out for you... and they have to pay to get the car there... you're not getting charged a cent.. you just get a car with <100 miles on it... but they are not gonna trade a car 100 miles away... all those people who test drive the damn thing... rake up miles too. sorry you're ignorant to the facts.

that's it true. I know an old guy( like 69 yrs old) who transfers fords from dealership to dealership. He babies those cars like none other. They won't let some hot shot take your new car out for a joyride. If they screw something up, the dealer will have to pay, so it'd be their loss, and that's no way run a business. They are there to make money.

what are you all talking about? You really need to calm down.

If a dealer is going to trade with another dealer, they will (at least in my experience) do it with a dealer pretty far away (otherwise there'd be no point to the trade).

Did I even suggest some "hot shot" will be driving the car? No, I said it'd be driven at highway speeds. Did you know you drive highway speeds on the highway? Yes, because I would think that driving over long distances would be best accomplished by driving on the highway.

Obviously yea, I'm not expecting someone to be ripping down at 100 MPH in the tradee tC, but still its constant speed and RPM

Lol I never even insulted any employees, dealerships, or anything!

Wowee, Mr. Choi, please relax man!
